TBWA has announced details for the Stallion Leaderboard Competition which will take place on Awards Day at Westspeed Platinum Race Day at Ascot on Saturday, December 21.

The Stallion who accumulates most points will win the Competition.  Points will be awarded in each race as follows;  First (4 points), Second place (2 points) and Third place (1 point).

The total prize pool of $10,000 will be split as follows; First ($6,000), Second ($3,000) and Third ($1,000).  Winners will be calculated following the final race with prize money paid to the Stallion owners.  In the event of a tie, prizemoney will be combined and split equally.

To participate in the Stallion Leaderboard competition, please ensure that your stallion meets the following criteria:

1  Only stallions enrolled in the Westspeed Platinum program are eligible to compete.

2  The stallion must have participated in the Stallion Tender Scheme 2023 to qualify. The only exception is where the Stallion has since passed, but was enrolled in the scheme prior to death.

3  A representative of the stallion – this may include an owner or stable manager – must be present at the Awards Day to accept any accolades and represent the stallion.

The Stallion Leaderboard competition was created to foster a spirit of healthy competition among breeders, celebrating the successes of our stallions in a fun and engaging way.  This competition not only highlights the dedication and hard work of breeders but also serves as an opportunity for industry members to come together, acknowledge achievements, and share in the excitement of the breeding season.

By recognising the standout performances of Westspeed Platinum stallions, we aim to strengthen camaraderie within our community while promoting excellence and supporting the growth of our breeding industry.

We do hope you are able to join us on this day, tickets for the event are still available and continue to be significantly subsidised by TBWA at a cost of $150 per person.  This event is restricted to ages 18 and over.
