Aristotle moves in Ireland

Former Australian shuttler Aristotle has been relocated for his next northern season to Whytemount Stud in County Kilkenny.

A Group 1 winner of the 1999 Racing Post Trophy, Aristotle joins a busy roster that also includes Ascot Gold Cup hero Mr Dinos.  The son of Sadler’s Wells had stood at Steeple Stud in County Wexford for the past two seasons.

Aristotle’s pedigree has received a significant upgrade in recent years, as Coronation Cup and Breeders’ Cup Turf winner St Nicholas Abbey is out of his half-sister Leaping Water and by Sadler’s Wells’ son Montjeu.

Coolmore sold Aristotle to race in Singapore where he won the Singapore New Year 2000 and was runner-up in the Singapore Derby under the name Our Aristotle.

Aristotle shuttled to Australia for five years and, to date, has sired 28 winners at a 39% strike-rate.
