Leading Tasmanian farm Armidale Stud has announced its stallion fees for the 2009 breeding season and is pleased to announce an early booking fee for all its sires for servings booked prior to June 30.
The fees are as follows with the early booking fees in brackets. Helike $3,300 ($2,805), Ladoni $2,750 ($2,337), Savoire Vivre $4,400 ($3,740), Telesto $2,750 ($2,337) and Tough Speed $2,750 ($2,337).
In other news, Armidale is continuing with the policy of upgrading its broodmare band and recently purchased two well bred mares at the Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale in Sydney. They include Regal Heights (NZ), who is by Zabeel from the Sovereign Edition mare Te Akau Princess and is in foal to G1 winning Redoute’s Choice sire Stratum.
The other mare Hop is a daughter of Snippets from the New Zealand bred Dance Attendance who is out of the wonderful race mare Verdi (Showdown). She is currently in foal to Strada, a stakes winning son of Danehill, who stands at Widden Stud.
