Arrowfield champions Redoute’s Choice and Flying Spur have several stakes winning mares catalogued for the Magic Millions National Sale later this month.
Group 1 winning Redoute’s Choice mare Melito will go under the hammer during Day 1 of the Gold Coast National Sale on May 28. She was a G1 winner of the T J Smith Stakes at Randwick and Queensland Winter Stakes at Eagle Farm in addition to claiming another three G2 events.
Redoute’s Choice got Melito from stakes winning Marauding mare Cloister. Now a five-year-old, Melito was covered early in her first season at stud by champion sire Encosta de Lago.
Vintedge has been retired and will parade on Tuesday, May 29. A worthy addition to any broodmare band, Vintedge ticks all the boxes.
Always highly regarded by leading trainer Chris Waller, Vintedge won third time out at Warwick Farm and she went on to win another five races amassing $610,000 in stakes. She enjoyed her biggest moment when storming home from last to take out the G2 Matriarch Stakes during the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
An athletic mare with scope and presence, Vintedge has a pedigree with so much to offer. She is a daughter of Danehill’s Golden Slipper winning champion son Flying Spur and looks set to add to his terrific broodmare sire record.
Flying Spur mares have produced 28 stakes winners including the G1 winners Sebring, Delago Deluxe, Headway and Grand Journey.
