Lynward Park resident Bletchley Park dominated Belmont’s midweek meeting with a winning treble on Wednesday.
Bletchley Park (Caerleon) was imported to Western Australia by Graham and Chris Daws in 1993 and stood at Dawson Stud until relocating to Ted van Heemst’s Lynward Park at Bullsbrook.
van Heemst races Pribyl who opened his account in Race 2 yesterday. Bletchley Park doubled up in Race 3 when Ecode scored for Stan Quinlivan before Brookesmebaby completed the hat-trick in Race 6 for the Beauglehole family.
Bletchley Park has sired more winners than any other WA based sire. Long-time Karendale Stud resident Jevington held the record with 309 but he was overhauled last year.
Bletchley Park has now sired 364 individual winners of 1168 races worldwide at a 62% winners-to-runners strike rate. He is currently covering his 17th book of mares at Lynward Park.
