Bolord on track in Victoria

Geisel Park mare Vintrack has a promising two year-old in Victoria named Bolord.

The Tony Noonan trained gelding has been nominated to make his debut at Seymour or Bairnsdale this Sunday, August 3.

Bolord (2g God’s Own – Vintrack by Blackfriars) was an impressive two length trial winner at Cranbourne earlier this month.  He races for a syndicate comprising Michael Pedley, David Allan, Jono Karamalikis, Jai Kemp, Dan Nielson, Liam O’Rourke and Bruno Portaro.

Pedley and Geisel Park’s Eddie Rigg bred and raced his dam Vintrack to 8 wins and she was stakes-placed at Ascot and Morphettville.  Rigg also owns her sister Miss Vinnoire who has won 5 races to date and been Group 3 placed in a Champion Fillies Stakes.

Their dam Private Vintage has been a wonderful produced for Rigg.  The rising 18 year-old mare has an unraced Oratorio filly named Veritas Vintage and she was bred back to Blackfriars last year.

Closer to home, Geisel Park homebred Bangkok Express broke through for his first win at Northam last Thursday.  The Danehill Express gelding scored a convincing barrier-to-box victory after a string of placings for trainer Simon Miller.
