Country cups campaign for Justify That

Justify That proved he’s back to career-best form with a second consecutive victory at Morphettville on Saturday.

The King Of Prussia gelding has now won 10 races and earned over $305,000 after a convincing victory in the Medallion Homes Hcp (1400m).  “That was a tough win,” Strathalbyn trainer Peter Moody said.  “He’s racing well – we don’t push him too much.”

Justify That (6g King of Prussia – Duty With Honour by West Point) will now be set for the Mildura Cup (1400m) and Balaklava Cup (1600m).  “Mildura will be tough, it’s a $70,000 race, but we’ve had a bit of luck there before,” Moody added.  “Hopefully he will be right for Balaklava after that.”

Wangaratta breeder Alan Price bred Justify That from Moonee Valley winner Duty With Honour.  The mare has a yearling filly by Greta West Stud resident Keep The Faith but wasn’t covered last year.

King of Prussia (Anabaa) stands at Greta West for a $2,200 (inc gst) service fee alongside God’s Own and Keep The Faith.

God’s Own is off to a flyer this season with winners in Victoria (Our Queenie), Sth Australia (Angel Suez), Queensland (Thankgod forfranc) and Tasmania (Concrete Johnny) over the weekend.
