Dancing Rain to visit New Approach

Sheikh Mohammed will send his new acquisition Dancing Rain to New Approach in 2014.

Dancing Rain (Danehill Dancer) cost the Dubai ruler $4 million guineas (AUD 7.53 million) at the Tattersalls December Sale last Monday.  A Group 1 winner of the 2011 English and German Oaks, she is currently in foal to Frankel.

Like Frankel, New Approach is a son of Galileo and is off to a stellar start at stud.  His first crop yielded three Royal Ascot juvenile winners in 2012 including Dawn Approach who progressed this term to capture the English 2000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes.

Darley has increased New Approach’s service fee at Dalham Hall to 80,000 pounds (AUD 143,580) in 2014.

He shuttled out here for four years at a $33,000 fee but did not return to Darley’s Victorian base at Northwood Park in 2013.
