Darley has more than doubled the English service fee of boom shuttler New Approach. The cost of a cover to the 2008 English Derby winner has increased from 22,500 pounds to 50,000 pounds.
New Approach sired a stakes winning treble at Royal Ascot headed by Dawn Approach who went on to a Group 1 victory in the Dewhurst Stakes. He is priced at a $33,000 fee in Australia.
New Approach (Galileo) stands at Dalham Hall alongside Exceed And Excel who also stood at 22,500 pounds last year. He has been bumped up to 35,000 pounds.
Dubawi heads the Dalham Hall roster at 75,000 pounds. The only newcomer among the nine stallions at the Newmarket nursery is Sepoy. The Australian champion is priced at 15,000 pounds.
Sheikh Mohammed’s Irish operation at Kildangan Stud is home to Teofilo who rises from 25,000 euros to 35,000 euros. He is another son of Galileo and, like New Approach, was bred by leading owner-trainer Jim Bolger.
Australian G1 winner Helmet will join the 8 strong Kildangan Stud roster at a 10,000 euros fee.
