Sheikh Mohammed has signalled his intention to make an offer for Champion English colt Sea The Stars.
The son of Darley sire Cape Cross and champion mare Urban Sea is the most valuable horse in training after completing the English 2000 Guineas – Derby double.
Sea The Stars, a younger half-brother to Galileo, is owned by Hong Kong based Christopher Tsui. Current estimates put his value at AUD82.5 million.
“Anyone would want a horse like that,” Sheikh Mohammed said when questioned on the opening day of Royal Ascot. “We are always looking for good stallions and we will talk to the owner.”
