Day 5 Magic Millions National Sale – Dark Delilah tops low-key session

The general session of broodmares concluded an outstanding week of sales at the Magic Millions National Sale on Friday.

Although low-key, Day 5 saw more increases across the board with 157 lots traded for $405,150.  The average was up 6% to $2,581.  The clearance rate increased one point to 89%.

Dark Delilah (More Than Ready) topped the session when knocked down to Daandine Pastoral for $30,000.  She is a half sister to G2 Hill Stakes winner Miss Marielle and their dam Miss Vandal (Don’t Say Halo) was a G3 winner of the WA Sires’ Produce Stakes,

Dark Delilah was sold in foal to Manhattan Rain.

Body Language (Fastnet Rock) was next best on the leader-board at $20,000.  She was offered in foal to Widden Stud stallion Snippetson. and was purchased by Palya Bloodstock.

Magic Millions continues the National Sale next week with 660 Yearlings (Tues to Thurs) and 250 Racehorses (Friday).
