Banchory Thoroughbreds stallion Seidnazar topped the general session of yearlings at the Gold Coast Magic Millions National Sale on Thursday.
A Seidnazar – Lush Liaison colt made $38,000 to Magic Millions acting as agent for a Singapore-based client. His dam is a Grand Lodge half sister to stakes winners Fouardee (Forest Glow) and Sojustrememberthis (Flying Spur).
Seidnazar is a son of Rory’s Jester and his gelding Kaiser claimed the 2011 Inglis Juvenile Stakes at Kranji.
Second of the leader-board was a Bel Danoro – Makeeba colt from the family of G1 winner Rhythmic Charm (AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes) and Scenic Lodge G3 winning sire Universal Ruler. He made 35,000 to the bid of Prime Thoroughbreds.
Top price among the fillies was a Holy Roman Emperor – Belsoeur youngster that sold to Jun Jun Molina for $21,000. She was offered by Montana Park and is from the family of G1 racehorse and sire Bel Esprit (Royal Academy).
Trade on the penultimate session was $580,200 and the average dipped 12% to $6,447. The clearance rate dropped 1 point to a disappointing 61%.
