Buyers interested in purchasing a mare in foal to race her progeny need not look further than the Inglis Great Southern Sale next week.
Last Saturday’s G3 The Jansz winner Dinkum Diamond was sold in utero with her dam Raja Lane at the 2009 Inglis Great Southern Sale. The mare made $60,000 to the bid of Toorak Park Stud owner Harry Perks.
Perks put Dinkum Diamond in the care of Leon Macdonald and the Keep The Faith filly has now earned over $148,550 in prizemoney in just three starts.
Greta West Stud sire Keep The Faith claimed a Group double at Morphettville at Saturday when Lucky Penny scored a Listed victory in the Laelia Stakes.
Keep The Faith has an exciting prospect catalogued as Lot 766 at the Great Southern Sale. Owners Barrie and Midge Griffiths will offer their rising four year-old mare Jessica Rose for sale at Oaklands Junction.
Jessica Rose (3f Keep The Faith – Strawberry Rose by Snippets) won at Caulfield on debut and has been entered for the Sandown Lakeside meeting this Wednesday, May 16. She is from a winning half-sister to last start Adelaide G3 winner Linton.
There are another six Keep The Faith foals entered for the Great Southern Weanling Sale headed by:
Lot 239 – Colt ex Court Swinging (Rory’s Jester). Dam a three-quarter sister to the stakes winning sires Real Jester and Seidnazar.
