Darley filly Dysphonia will appreciate the drop in class when she runs in the Mitchelton Wines Showcase (Race 8 at 5.20 AEDT) in the lucky last at Seymour this afternoon.
Dysphonia won her maiden at Pakenham on September 14 and was then upped in grade for an unplaced effort behind Jolie Brise at Caulfield a fortnight later. Trainer Peter Snowden has reverted to a Class 1 at the provincials and she can salute against older horses.
Dysphonia (3f Lonhro – Stutter by Night Shift) is from a mare that won five races in Melbourne and Sydney. Second dam Murmurs (Zamazaan) is a half-sister to the dam of Sir Kinloch (Rhythm), a G1 winner of the NZ Thorndon Mile.
