Exceedingly Good moves to Wattle Brae Stud

Exceed And Excel sire Exceedingly Good has joined Wattle Brae Stud for the 2012 breeding season.

Exceedingly Good was based at Secret Hills Farm in Beaudesert last year. He stood for a $5,500 service fee alongside Dr Green (Fusaichi Pegasus) and Minardi (Boundary).

Exceedingly Good will have his first two year-olds racing in 2012-13 and they were well received at the majors this year selling to $57,500 at the NZB Karaka Select Sale and $35,000 at the Inglis Classic Sale.

One of the most precocious juveniles of his generation, Exceedingly Good won the LR Maribyrnong Trial and G3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington. He raced in the colours made famous at headquarters by Makybe Diva.

Exceed And Excel has sired 45 stakes winners world-wide and, of them, only Reward For Effort and Helmet won in higher grade than Exceedingly Good as juveniles on the local front.

Exceedingly Good is one of two black-type winners produced from the stakes-placed Snippets mare Common Smytzer. He’s an older half-brother to Singapore star Better Be The One (More Than Ready).

The Wattle Brae newcomer will stand the coming season at a service fee of $4,400 (inc gst).
