Easy Choice became the latest son of Redoute’s Choice to sire a winner when Amaretto saluted at Wangaratta on Friday.
Amaretto (3f Easy Choice – Faith ‘n’ Patience by General Nediym) won the Winsec Savings & Loans Maiden (1000m) despite racing greenly on debut. The Adam O’Neill trained filly came with a well-time run for a narrow victory over Pearly Eyes (Artie Schiller) and Atatood (Encosta De Lago).
Amaretto is owned by Gerard Boyd, Dave Carless, Leigh Hancock, Joel McGlone, Steve Mellor, Adam O’Neill and Jim Ryan after changing hands for just $1,000 at the 2012 Inglis Melbourne Autumn yearling sale.
She is from a half-sister to the dam of NZ St Leger winner Vikja King (Viking Ruler). Second dam Precocity (Vice Regal) was a Listed winner of the Avondale 2YO Classic.
Easy Choice is an unraced brother to Arrowfield Stud sire Not A Single Doubt and stands at Noor Elaine Farm for a $3,850 (inc gst) service fee.
Noor Elaine Farm is owned by the El-Fahkri family is situated in the heart of Euroa. The stud is also home to Oamaru Force (Geiger Counter).
