First winner by Ego

Ego (NZ) sired his first winner when Kiwi expat Perfect Commando scored a front-running victory at Kranji on Friday evening.

Perfect Commando (3g Ego – Surraar by Ekraar) prevailed by two lengths at his fifth start for Perfect Racing Stable.  He transferred to Singapore after winning a Matamata trial for trainer Ben Ropiha in February 2016.

Purchased at the 2015 Karaka Ready To Run Sales for $30,000 by Singapore owner S K Tang, he is from a winning half-sister to G3 Auraria Stakes winner Princess Pulse.

Haunui Farm stands Ego for a free service fee.  He is based at the Karaka farm in association with Daniel & Elias Nakhle who raced him to a Group 2 victory in the G2 Concorde Hcp at Ellerslie.

Representing the successful Mr. Prospector – Northern Dancer cross, Ego is the fastest son of former Darley shuttler E Dubai and his dam Buckling (Redoute’s Choice) is from the family of Denise’s Joy.
