First winner by Oneworld

Former Larneuk Stud sire Oneworld opened his account when Eurack bolted in at Bendigo on Friday.

Despite facing the breeze on debut, Eurack was always travelling under a tight hold before Luke Nolen let her rip in the Isuzu Maiden Plate (1100m). She accelerated to a winning lead on a Heavy 8 surface and then coasted to a three-length victory.

Eurack (3f Oneworld – Jungle Dance by Jungle Pocket) collected over $35,000 boosted by a Super VOBIS bonus and she appears a bright prospect for Cranbourne trainer Nathan McPherson.

Oneworld (Danehill Dancer) was competitive with world-class sprinters Rocket Man and Sacred Kingdom in Hong Kong.  He dead-heated with Rocket Man in a G2 HKJC Sprint at Sha Tin and was also placed in a G1 Golden Shaheen in Dubai.

After encountering fertility issues at Larneuk Stud, Oneworld was transferred to St Elmo Racing’s property in Swan Hill.  In an interview with Thoroughbred Express earlier this year, St Elmo owner Stefan Seketa reported those problems were being addressed by stem-cell treatment.
