Raheeb is the latest former Patinack Farm stallion to sire his first winner this week.
Now based at Wattle Brae Stud, Raheeb filly She’s Got Beauty scored by six lengths in the XXXX QTIS 2YO Maiden Hcp (800m) at Thangool in Queensland’s Capricornia region on Saturday.
She’s Got Beauty (2f Raheeb – Etidane by Danewin) was bred by Patinack and was never in danger on debut for jockey John Stephens and his trainer wife Angela. The chestnut filly is from a daughter of Etizaaz (NZ), a Sydney winner for Emirates Park owner Nasser Lootah who won the Golden Slipper with Mossfun on Saturday.
On Thursday, ex Patinack stallion Teranaba was represented by his first winner when Quick Assault landed a QTIS event at Rockhampton.
Raheeb had 10 first-crop starters before She’s Got Beauty made the breakthrough on Saturday. A son of Royal Academy, he won the G3 Cameron Hcp at Newcastle and LR Paris Lane Stakes at Flemington in a 22 start career with trainers Anthony Cummings, Jason Coyle and Mick Price.
Raheeb is a brother to the dam of Coolmore Stud champion Fastnet Rock and stands for a $7,700 (inc gst) fee at Wattle Brae.
