Flash winner by Dash For Cash

Splash Of Moet will be set for an end-of-season black-type event after scoring a runaway victory at Morphettville on Saturday.

Splash Of Moet (2f Dash For Cash – Storm Tossed by Rory’s Jester) was in a race of her own winning the Irish Day Hcp (1000m) by more than six lengths.  She had won by two lengths on debut three weeks earlier.

“She looked pretty impressive on Saturday and at this stage will go to the Dermody Stakes,” trainer Mark Minervini reported.  “She pulled up a treat and licked out the feed bin overnight.”

The $80,000 Listed Dermody Stakes over 1050m is scheduled for July 28 at Morphettville.

Minervini bought Splash Of Moet for $42,0000 at the 2011 Adelaide Magic Millions.  Her dam Storm Tossed has now foaled winners by Jeune (4) Dash for Cash (2) and Alannan.

Storm Tossed is a half-sister to Northern Territory Derby winner Young Challenger (Jeune).  Second-dam Stormy Dawn (Bluebird) won 6 races in Melbourne and Adelaide topped by the Listed SAJC Cinderella Stakes.

Splash Of Moet is the latest winner by Dash For Cash to emerge from the 2011 Adelaide Magic Millions.  The Swettenham Stud resident is also the sire of Dashitude who won the LR Dequetteville Stakes at Morphettville in April.

Dashitude was bred and sold by Marana Park owner Bob McKay for a bargain $5,500 at the 2011 Adelaide Magic Millions.  She has earned over $207,500 for trainer Chris Bieg and her connections.

Dash For Cash (Secret Savings) will stand for a $6,600 early-bird booking service fee at Swettenham Stud this year.
