Four-way tie for NZB Southern Filly of the Year

The NZ Bloodstock Southern Filly of the Year Series has ended in a tie after Fast Love’s victory in the Listed NZB Warstep Stakes (2000m).

Fast Love (3f Fastnet Rock – Make Me Dream by Sadler’s Wells) was too tough in the final leg, putting in a solid performance in the Riccarton straight to record her second win for trainers Murray and Bjorn Baker.  She was offered by Seaton Park at the 2010 Karaka Premier Sale but was passed-in for $50,000.

Ormond Road (City On A Hill) finished second and Monaco Consul’s sister So Divine (High Chaparral) was a luckless third.

With the NZB Southern Filly of the Year Series was split four ways between Fast Love, Princess Emmy (King’s Chapel), No Choice (Coats Choice) and Final Touch (Kashani).
