Coolmore sire Fusaichi Pegasus will shuttle from Ashford Stud in Kentucky to La Mission Stud in Argentina this year.
The 2000 Kentucky Derby winner hasn’t been back to Australia since holding the fort for Coolmore during the E.I. crisis in 2007. He covered 152 mares that spring at an advertised fee of $66,000.
Fusaichi Pegasus (Mr Prospector) has since shuttled to the Haras Don Alberto in Chile. He will detour to La Mission which is also home to Footstepsinthesand, Harlan’s Holiday and Pollard’s Vision.
FuPeg sire sons in Australia include Haradasun, Zizou, Enemy Of Average, Flying Pegasus, Dr Green and Floral Pegasus.
