Global success for Danehill

Global Crossing is the latest son of Danehill to sire a winner.  He joined the club when East Village captured the Leukaemia Foundation Maiden (1000m) at Hawkesbury on Saturday.

East Village (3f Global Crossing – Lady Frisco by Frisco View) is a homebred for Hobartville Stud owner Graham Mapp.  She is the only starter to date by her sire who stands at Sid Kelly’s Reibycroft Stud.

Global Crossing is a winning half-brother to LR Caulfield Autumn Classic winner Whisper Bay (Royal Academy) and the dam of G1 Flemington Myer Classic winner Hurtle Myrtle (Dane Shadow).  Their dam Winds Of Peace (Bletchingly) is a sister to 1988 Golden Slipper winner Star Watch.

Global Crossing stands for a $1,100 (inc gst) service fee at Reibycroft Stud which is situated at Freemans Reach on the Hawkesbury River.
