Globetrotter bookings at Brackley Park

Street Cry stallion Globetrotter is proving popular with breeders in advance of his first season at Brackley Park in Avenel.  The handsome chestnut has been supported by Victorian breeders with numerous well-credentialed mares.  Bookings already confirmed for this year include:

KILSPINDIE
Group 3 winning Danehill mare.  Full sister to the Listed winner Brackenbury and half sister to the dual stakes winner Rullene.

OUR YANGTZE RIVER
Group 3 winning daughter of Zabeel and dam of the multiple city winner Royal Yangtze.  Half sister to the dam of the South African G2 winner Bishops Rock from the G1 family of Riverina Charm and Neroli.

CARRY THE GREEN
Dam of the Listed winning juvenile Cianara and half sister to the stakes winner Dartmouth from the family of the champion mare Light Fingers.

PREDICTIONS
Daughter of Western Symphony and dam of the G3 winner Great Is Great.  Half sister to the stakes performers Dedalus and Stop Flirting from a prolific NZ family that has produced the big race winners The Phantom, The Phantom Chance and The Jewel.

SHEBOOM
Sister to classy Jugah gelding Sir Boom, winner of 15 races including two editions of the G2 Memsie Stakes and over $789,000 in stakes.

SAKURA FAIR
From a half sister to Hong Kong G1 winner Archipenko.  Hails from the world-class family of Special – dam of Nureyev and grand-dam of Sadler’s Wells and Fairy King.

A G3 winner at two and G1 placed at four, Globetrotter was tough and honest with an impressive turn of foot.  His dam is by Seattle Slew and hails from the family of USA stakes winners Devotion Unbridled and Snow Cone.

His sire Street Cry heads a Darley roster of 25 stallions in Australia this year at a $137,500 fee.  That’s a $25,000 increase on his 2009 services which isn’t surprising given his exploits in the last 12 months with Champion USA mare Zenyatta and his Australian G1 winners Shocking and Whobegotyou.

Globetrotter impressed visitors at Brackley Park’s open day last weekend when he paraded with Storm Cat sire Deadly Storm.  His introductory fee has been set at $8,800 (inc gst) by owner Damian White.
