Good Nature shows the way in Malaysia

Good Nature capped a memorable weekend for Magic Millions graduates when he made it back-to-back wins in the G1 Selangor Gold Cup (1600m) in Malaysia on Sunday.

Good Nature (6g Way of Light –  Tears We Cry by French Deputy) defended the Gold Cup with an emphatic three quarter length margin over Eagle and Lim’s Fighter.  He has now won 10 times in 29 starts for earnings of over M$1.30 million.

He has turned out a great money spinner for the Golden Knight Stable considering he cost just $10,000 as a weanling and yearling on the Gold Coast.

Bellerive Stud sold him as a weanling at the 2005 Magic Millions National weanling sale and he changed hands for the same price when Couzinz sold him to Lyle Plumb at the 2006 Magic Millions Premier yearling sale.

“Good Nature is owned by Beh Chin Pheng and he’s the biggest Malaysian buyer we have as a client,” Magic Millions Acting Managing Director David Chester said.  “Mr Beh won the Magic Millions Classic with Hot Butterfly last year.”

Good Nature’s dam is a winning half sister to six time winner Five Ways.  Second dam Missa Brevis (Miswaki) is a half sister to the former champion American filly Miss Alleged.
