IASbet Weekend Review

In review of last Saturday’s racing, IASbet.com’s Mark Read reports that, despite an early victory for bookmakers, punters got the best of it by the end of the day.

“It may sound like a familiar bookmakers’ cry, but it was about time that a significant roughie won a good betting race in town. Sand Sweeper, a horse I rated at $67.00, won well in the second leg of the quaddie at Flemington, enabling my business to retain every coin invested,” said Read.

“However, the financial windfall was gone only a few of races later when Swift Bay, at $3.40, and Gran Sasso, at $3.80, won the final two races on the card respectively. Both horses were well tried and did not disappoint, with multiple bets of $10,000 and $20,000 giving punters the power by the end of the day.”
