Former Victorian based stallion Illustrious Blue (GB) will stand his first season at Jindera Park in NSW this year.

Illustrious Blue (Dansili) has 10 foals from his first crop born last year.  He will join Fast ‘N’ Famous (Redoute’s Choice) at Brett Cavanough’s property which is situated 15km north of Albury-Wodonga.

The 11 year-old stallion has been relocated by Belhus Racing owner Peter Morley who will send a dozen of his own mares to the international stakes winner.

Illustrious Blue won 10 races in England highlighted by the G2 Goodwood Cup and the G3 Glorious Stakes.  He also won the G3 Sagaro Stakes at Ascot and Derrinstown Stud Trophy in Dubai before arriving in Australia to finish midfield in Americain’s Melbourne Cup.

His sire Dansili is one of Europe’s top Danehill stallions standing at Juddmonte Farms.  The best of his progeny have been the Arc de Triomphe winners Rail Link and Harbinger.
