Inglis catalogues 87 lots for Sydney Autumn Sale

The Inglis Sydney Autumn Sale at Newmarket this Friday has attracted 87 lots covering all categories of racing and breeding stock.

“There’s always plenty of bargains like Avienus at the Sydney Autumn Sale,” Inglis director Jonathan D’Arcy said.  “She sold for a fraction of her current value at the 2008 Autumn Sale.”

Avienus (Reset) was purchased as an unraced three-year-old for $20,000 by Richard Anderson.  She has won $540,000 in prizemoney since then including a G2 victory in the 2010 Stocks Stakes at Moonee Valley.

This Friday’s broodmare section includes daughters of Flying Spur, Royal Academy, Canny Lad and Street Cry plus Tamworth stakes winner Sutton Review (Youthful Legs).

The select of racehorses in the catalogue includes stakes placed Butt I’m Ready, city winners Apparitions and Pteryon plus plenty unraced and lightly raced stock.
