Inglis graduates dominate Golden Slipper trials

Inglis yearling graduates currently dominate the order of entry for the G1 Golden Slipper at Rosehill on Saturday week, April 2.  A total of 13 in the Top 20 were sold by Inglis with five of the remaining seven being homebreds.

Inglis graduates also dominate Saturday’s final Golden Slipper trials in the Pago Pago and Magic Night Stakes.

Golden Archer ($80,000 Easter) heads betting for the G2 Pago Pago Stakes but will face tough opposition in Written Consent ($26,000 Scone) and You’re Canny ($40,000 Classic).  Rounding out the Inglis runners are Exceed And Exalt ($250,000 Easter) and Flying Zero ($150,000 Easter).

Inglis graduates have claimed two of the last three runnings of the G2 Magic Night Stakes and hold a strong hand again in 2011 with Pane In The Glass ($32,000 Classic) along with Homedge (P$30,000 Premier) and Quackquack (P$27,500 Easter).

Inglis Easter graduates to succeed at the highest level as two-year-olds in the past five seasons include Miss Finland, Forensics, Musir, Onemorenomore, Nadeem, Reaan, Mentality, Apercu, Camarilla and Samantha Miss.

The 2011 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale will be held the week following this year’s Golden Slipper, with 529 lots to go under the hammer at Newmarket on April 5 to 7.
