Inglis Sale bookends Scone Cup carnival

The 2011 Inglis Scone yearling sale catalogue is now online.  Comprising 392 lots, it’s scheduled for May 12 and 15.

The two sessions will bookend the two-day Scone Cup and Inglis Guineas carnival on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14.

“Once again the Scone sale has received excellent support from vendors,” Inglis Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy said.  “It continues to produce top quality racehorses, year in year out.

“Hot Danish has obviously been a wonderful flag-bearer and the likes of Group 1 winner Small Minds, stakes winning sprinter Welkom Gold and 2010 Inglis Guineas winner Star Of Octagonal also highlight what astute buyers can unearth at this sale.”

Last Sunday’s G1 Macau Challenge Cup winner Happy Gladiator was purchased for $57,500 at the 2008 Inglis Scone yearling sale.  He has since earned the equivalent of AUD 448,735.
