Invincible record for Irish National Stud

Former Chatswood Stud shuttler Invincible Spirit has shattered the world record for two year-old winners in 2010.  The Irish National Stud based stallion was represented by 42 juvenile winners across the northern hemisphere.

Topping the list was Hooray (G1 Cheveley Park Stakes) and Zebedee (G2 Flying Childers Stakes).  His other black-type winners were Al Aasifh (LR Rose Bowl Stakes) and Temps Au Temps (LR Prix Herod).

All 42 winners were based in Great Britain, Ireland, France and Italy except for his Danish based filly Miss Behave.

Invincible Spirit bettered the previous mark of 39 juvenile winners held by Florida based sires Chapel Royal (2008) and Wildcat Heir (2009).

He also held the first-season record of 35 juvenile winners in Europe set in 2006 until it was bettered by Iffraaj in 2010.

Invincible Spirit shuttled to Chatswood for four seasons from 2003 until 2006.  He has sired 86 winners at a 61% strike-rate in Australia with G1 winning filly Yosei (AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes & MRC Thousand Guineas) his chief earner.

His G3 winning sprinter I Am Invincible has just completed his first season at Yarraman Park.

Invincible Spirit (Green Desert – Rafha by Kris) was a G1 winner of the Stanley Leisure Sprint Cup at Haydock and stands for a 60,000 euros fee at the Irish National Stud.
