Ironside invests in Danger Looms

Victorian bred stallion Danger Looms has been purchased by former NZ TAB manager Craig Ironside.

The Danehill-line stallion is based at Ashford Park at Otaki.  “He stacks up against stallions that stand for a whole lot more and he just needs the numbers to prove it,” said Ironside.  “I watched an awful lot of racing and was always impressed with him.”

Danger Looms (Dangerous – Diamonds Forever by At Talaq) was trained by John McArdle for Red Gum Racing and was a precocious colt winning the G3 Blue Diamond Preview at Caulfield before claiming the G2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Flemington.

Danger Looms (Aus) has sired 2 winners from just 3 starters out of his first crop.  His Foxton based gelding The Giant won at Ruakaka before transferring off-shore to continue his career in Singapore.

Ironside has placed a $2,500 (plus gst) service fee on Danger Looms with a $1,000 discount offered for bookings received in July.
