Swettenham Stud started 2012 with another winning month in January.  Swettenham stallions racked up 45 wins in Australia and among them was a ground-breaking first for Host.

Host (Chi) opened his account at stud when Flying Hostess scored a brilliant victory on her debut at Ballarat on January 5.  Trainer Darren Weir has been impressed by her professional attitude and believes she will eventually win at black-type level.

Dash For Cash also passed a milestone in the New Year when Fast Bucks scored at Bairnsdale on January 2.  It was 200th individual winner and they have won a total of 529 races.
