Japan’s earthquake and a tsunami has spared Japan’s major breeding centre on Hokkaido.  Shadai Farm owner Teruya Yoshida revealed the industry leader escaped relatively unharmed.  

Darley Japan is also located at Hokkaido and its manager Sam Bullard reported no serious structural damage and that all its resident stallions are fine.

All Japanese race meetings on the JRA and NAR provincial circuits have been cancelled until further notice.
