Albury-based Brett Cavanough has sold Jindera Park to take over the stables of Greg Bennett in Scone.
Jindera Park’s foundation sire Fast ‘N’ Famous is on the market and its other stallions – Duporth, Nom Du Jeu, Va Pensiero and Illustrious Blue – are also looking for new homes.
Fast ‘N’ Famous is a proven Group 1 producing son of Redoute’s Choice with a terrific strike rate while Duporth (Red Ransom) is also the subject of some serious inquiries. That’s not surprising given his recent run of success and that fact his yearlings averaged $120,000 at last month’s Gold Coast Magic Millions.
Group 1 AJC Derby winner Nom Du Jeu (Montjeu) sired stakes performers Alcaldesa and Athena last season. He’s a horse with plenty of upside and had four individual winners last week including Liapari (Randwick) and Robin Hood (Singapore).
Illustrious Blue (Dansili) was a world class stayer and a Goodwood specialist winning 7 races at the Sussex circuit culminating in the G2 Goodwood Cup. There have been three of his first-crop runners to date and two have been placed – Navy Blue and Deep Purple.
Va Pensiero (Stratum) was a record-breaking winner of the G3 San Domenico Stakes and G3 Run To The Rose. He was also runner-up to Miracles of Life in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes beating Rubick, Mossfun and Rain Affair.
