Driefontein leads the first order of entries for the 2013 Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) on January 12.
The Gai Waterhouse trained filly has earned more than $1.45 million and is over $600,000 ahead of G1 winning colt Sizzling ($818,750).
Driefontein (3f Fastnet Rock – Follow Gold by Export Price) won the 2012 Magic Millions 2YO Classic on protest for a Star Thoroughbreds syndicate managed by Denise Martin. The filly was a $75,000 buy at the 2011 Gold Coast Magic Millions.
Magic Millions 2YO Classic and Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up No Looking Back is third on the list with her earnings (less bonuses) of $572,000.
Others high up in the order of entry include black type fillies Snipzu ($385,400) and Hoss Amor ($375,350). Queensland three-year-olds Saluter, Discreet, Platinum State, Avaladyluck and Holey Gadoley round out the top 10 just ahead of Saturday’s stakes winner Caliente (11th).
