Makybe Diva in foal to All Too Hard

Victorian breeders Tony and Deslee Santic have confirmed their Melbourne Cup legend Makybe Diva has returned a 30 day PPT to Vinery freshman All Too Hard.

Makybe Diva (Desert King) began her breeding career with a Galileo colt in 2007.   Named Rockstardom, he scored at Bendigo and Cranbourne last season for Danny O’Brien.

Her 2008 foal La Dolce Diva (Fusaichi Pegasus) was unplaced in four starts and delivered her first foal – a filly by Stratum – on September 3.

Makybe Diva’s 2009 foal Coaster (Encosta de Lago) was sent to France in August 2012 and was unplaced at his only run to date.

The Melbourne Cup legend missed the following year to More Than Ready and her 2011 colt Taqneen (Lonhro) is a 2yo in training with David Hayes.

The Santics have a High Chaparral – Makybe Diva yearling colt but the mare missed to Darley sire Sepoy last year.

All Too Hard (Casino Prince) bowed out of racing with a powerful G1 victory in the All Aged Stakes at Randwick in April.  He had claimed the G1 Caulfield Guineas in October.

A half-brother to world champion Black Caviar, he is serving a full book at Vinery for a $66,000 (inc gst) service fee.
