Mogumber Park has entered 17 lots for the Inglis May (Early) Online Sale that runs from Friday, 10 May until Wednesday, 15 May.

The reduction sale comprises 4 weanlings, 4 yearlings plus 9 broodmares and they are all being offered unreserved.  Three of the foals are by Mogumber Park’s Champion 2YO Sire Safeguard (Exceed And Excel) and two of the yearlings are by Rommel (Commands) who currently leads this season’s WA 2YO premiership.

This sale also provides an opportunity to buy one of three mares in foal from the first book of Mogumber Park’s dynamic Group 2 MRC Rubiton Stakes (1100m) winner Marine One as well as Safeguard.

Marine One is a regally-bred, stunning son of Capitalist and an added advantage to his future in the Westspeed State is the continuing support of his part-owners including Matthew Sandblom (Kingstar Farm) and the China Horse Club.

“Marine One certainly fits the profile for a successful stallion here and to have their support is an enormous endorsement for not only our farm, but the WA breeding industry as a whole,” Mogumber Park owner Colin Brown said.

A lovely Safeguard filly that looks like she will be early but has the scope to train on.  She has a great athletic walk and is a well-grown filly with Safeguard hind-quarters.  She is correct with good bone and a lovely attitude. Approx.13.3 ½ hh.

Filly  Rommel – All Too Familiar
A classy filly by Rommel who will make a Premier Sale any day of the week.  She is correct, athletic and has plenty to like about her.  Well grown, she will furnish into a very attractive and commercial yearling.  Approx.14.0hh and 306kg

A late November foal, this filly will grow out into a striking 2yo.  She has presence and quality about her and is a correct, athletic filly.  Approx.14.3hh and 402kg.

BROODMARES

Msongari (Show A Heart)
A lovely big roomy mare, good bone and correct conformation.  Easy to deal with in all aspects.  She missed on her only cover last season after a late foal. 16.1hh and 602kg.  She has a quality colt by Hellbent which will be retained for the Perth MM sale in February.  NIF

Hellaroo (Casino Prince)
A good-sized attractive mare with correct conformation. She is good to handle in all aspects and has a stunning filly by Hanseatic who will be retained for the Perth MM sale in Feb. The mare did not conceive this year, but did not have any obvious reproductive problems. Approx.16hh and 524kg. NIF

All Too Familiar (All Too Hard)

Winning half-sister to Al Dhafra (LR AJC Carbine Club Stakes) from the family of WA Stakes winner Cat In A Hat (LR Ascot Gold Cup).  Her first foal Magic Dee (Zebedee) is a Morphettville winner and the mare has yearling filly by Strasbourg and a filly foal by Safeguard.
