Scenic Lodge has announced Kelly Salgari will take on the role of Broodmare Manager after a successful stint looking after its racehorses while they were spelling at the leading stud.

Salgari (pictured) has always had a love of horses and initially spent time working in the trotting industry before joining Scenic Lodge in 2019.  She created a big impression from the outset and has since developed into an extremely important member of the young team at Muchea.

“Kelly is an absolute gem and we’re delighted to announce her appointment,” General Manager Jeremy Smith said.  “It’s a very important role.  She impressed me straight away with her fantastic work ethic plus she is extremely talented in so many other key areas on the farm.

“We are fortunate to have Kelly at Scenic Lodge.  She’s extremely dedicated and has the passion required to work in this industry.”
