Oaklands Stud sires All Bar One and Chateau Istana spotlighted the upcoming Magic Millions National HIT Sale when they sired impressive trial winners at Toowoomba on Tuesday.
Peterhof (2c All Bar One – Russian Delight by Fasliyev) won a 650 metre hit-out in 39.67s beating older rivals by a half length. He is catalogued as Lot 50 at the HIT Sale next month and is QTIS eligible. His dam is a daughter of VRC Oaks winner Weekend Delight.
There are five All Bar One juveniles catalogued for the HIT Sale. All Bar One (Hennessy) was a stakes winner in Melbourne and Brisbane for Gillian and Hoss Heinrich and he stands for a $7,700 (inc gst) fee at Oaklands.
Chateau Istana filly Daydreamer was an explosive trial winner at Toowoomba on August 31 and she doubled up on Tuesday. Her sire also has five lots catalogued for the HIT Sale.
Daydreamer (2f Chateau Istana – Claire’s Vision by Marwina) is a homebred for Oaklands Stud owner Neville Stewart. Her sire is by Grand Lodge and was a G2 winner of the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster before transferring to Hong Kong where he won races as Chateau King Prawn.
Chateau Istana also stands for a $7,700 (inc gst) fee at Oaklands.
The HIT Sale Breeze Up sessions begin at the Gold Coast next Monday and Tuesday (September 20 and 21). In Victoria, Seymour will host a session next Thursday (September 23) as will Rockhampton next Friday (September 24).
The Magic Millions National HIT Sale is scheduled for the Gold Coast on October 27 and 28. Recent graduates of the sale include Shocking, Graceful Anna, Masquerader, Whipsaw, Fifteen Carat, Deer Valley, Viva Pronto, Gingerbread Man and Bionic Boy.
