Onajet goes jumping in Germany

Former Australian jumper Onajet will do his future racing in Germany after being sold at the Doncaster Bloodstock Sale on Wednesday.

Onajet (7g Super Jet – Our Ampulla by Noble Bijou) was purchased for 5,500 pounds (AUD 9,032) by trainer Christian von der Recke who was acting for leading owner Bernd Raber.

Onajet was taken to England by Ballarat trainer Anthony Cosgriff for the Cheltenham festival, however, he didn’t make it to the world famous carnival after finishing fourth at Ayr in a novice hurdle at his only British start.

His only win in 51 starts in Australia came in June 2008 when successful in a 2444m maiden at Mornington.
