Playing God settles in at Mungrup Stud

Playing God has arrived at Mungrup Stud and the numbers are beginning to build for his first book later this year.

Trainer Neville Parnham farewelled his stable star earlier this week after a career that harvested 8 wins headed by a Group 1 double in the Kingston Town Stakes at Ascot.  He will stand for an introductory service fee of $6,600 (inc gst).

“He was let into his stallion paddock on Friday,” Mungrup’s Ann Croucher said.  “He’s enjoying the surroundings and is checking out the other stallions.”

Playing God (Blackfriars) joins a Mungrup roster headed by Sunspeed champions Oratorio (Aus) and Danehill Express.  Group 1 winning shuttler Dick Turpin will arrive from the English National Stud for his second southern season in August.
