Victorian based stallion King Of Prussia sired his 10th individual winner in the last month when Lea Babe broke through at Kyneton on Tuesday.

The Greta West Stud resident started March where he left off in February.  Lea Babe is trained by Alan Browell at Bendigo and she made short work of her rivals with a near four length victory in the No Fuss Solutions Plate (1469m).

Lea Babe (4m King Of Prussia – Crazy Babe by Joindre) is a younger half-sister to Duel Command (Commands) who won three races at Sandown and the provincials in 2005-06.

Browell also prepares King Of Prussia gelding Our Inheritance who won his fourth race at Werribee on Saturday.  That result came a day after Prussian Secret won the Quirindi Cup for owner-trainer Leon Davies.  

Prussian Secret (6g King Of Prussia – Let’s Remember by Almaarad) comes from his sire’s initial crop and is racing as well as ever this season.  The Quirindi Cup will join others from Armidale and Coonamble in the Davies trophy cabinet.  He also won at Eagle Farm late last year.

Miss Prussia scored the easiest win for her sire last month.  The Albury based filly scored by six lengths at Corowa on February 19 and trainer Jodie Bohr has nominated her a restricted sprint at home this Sunday.

King Of Prussia has sired 87 winners of 202 races from his first four crops at a 57% strike-rate.  He stands at Greta West for a $3,300 service fee.

King Of Prussia (Anabaa) was a brilliant stakes winner on debut at Flemington but a leg injury curtailed his career after just 8 starts.  Laurie and John McCarthy stand him at Greta West alongside Coubertin (Redoute’s Choice), Dangerous (Danehill) and Man Of Illusion (Encosta de Lago).

He is bred on the same Anabaa – Sir Tristram cross as G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Anacheeva who is gunning for another G1 in the Australian Guineas at Flemington this Saturday.
