Queensland base for Eliza Park

Eliza Park will establish a Queensland division at Innisplain after acquiring the successful Racetree nursery.

Racetree was previously owned by Kevin Dixon. He purchased the property in 2004 from Peter Moran when it was known as Noble Park.

Dixon was recently appointed as Chairman of Racing Queensland. “I’m very proud of where we have positioned Racetree in the Queensland breeding industry,” Dixon said. “However, I feel this is the perfect opportunity to take this to the next step – Eliza Park has a reputation for professionalism and innovation and this step is a tremendous boon for both local and interstate broodmare owners.”

Eliza Park is the home of Black Caviar’s sire Bel Esprit and, in just over a decade, has established itself as the leading stud farm in Victoria. Its 2012 roster will be announced later this week.
