Rain Drum updates Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale

Rain Drum’s victory in the G3 Shannon Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday is the latest of numerous updates for the Inglis Sydney Ready 2 Race Sale this Thursday.

Rain Drum (Fastnet Rock) has a half-brother by Snitzel catalogued as Lot 74 by Esker Lodge among the outstanding drafts of young horses prepared over in New Zealand for the 2YO Sale.

All drafts from Australia and New Zealand based consignors will be ready for inspection at Newmarket as from Tuesday morning.  The sale will begin at 11am on Thursday.

Lot 88:  Exceed And Excel x Investment Grade colt – Three-quarter-brother to six time Japanese winner Tatsu Stinger

Lot 90:  Shaft x Katie Kerfuffle filly – Half-sister to Sydney metro winner Turnley

Lot 91:  Pins x Kims Coup colt – Half-brother to LR Canterbury Belle Stakes winner Orovela

The sires represented in the Ready 2 Race catalogue have also been running hot in recent weeks.  More Than Ready, the sire of G1Moir Stakes winner Samaready, is represented by a stunning brown filly from G3 winning mare Permaiscuous.

The sires of recent Australian G1 winners Streama (Stratum), It’s A Dundeel (High Chaparral), Zoustar (Northern Meteor) and Atlantic Jewel (Fastnet Rock) are also among many other proven stallions represented at this week’s auction.
