Redoute’s Choice is closing in on another record-breaking season with his three year-olds.

The Arrowfield champion has sired 60 individual Australian bred three year-olds winners in 2011-12.  He reached that figure when Asheerah broke through at Geelong on Tuesday.

Asheerah (3f Redoute’s Choice – Rewaaya by Singspiel) is a Shadwell Stud homebred for Sheikh Hamdan.  Her dam Rewaaya was a G1 winner of the MRC Sir Rupert Clark Stakes at Caulfield.

Redoute’s Choice holds the record in the three year-old division with 67 individual winners set in 2008-09.  In that season, there were 64 winners in Australia plus two in NZ and another in Hong Kong.

His current crop of 60 three year-old winners conceived at Arrowfield in 2007 includes off-shore winners in NZ (4) and one each in Japan, Dubai, England and Germany.
