Redoute’s Choice colt catalogued for JRHA July Sale

The JRHA July Sale has several lots by Australia sires at the auction for high-flyers on July 11 & 12.

The yearling session next Monday is followed by the foal session on Tuesday at the Northern Horse Park on Hokkaido.

Redoute’s Choice is represented by a yearling colt (Lot 59) from Sunday Smile (Sunday Silence) as part of the Northern Farm consignment.  The Arrowfield champion sired his first Japanese stakes winner in April when Clianthus claimed the LR Marguerite Stakes at Hanshin.

The Redoute’s Choice colt is out of the Sheikh Maktoum homebred mare Sunday Smile who won at Redcar in August 2005.  She is a half-sister to English Group winner and one-time Sunspeed shuttler Systematic (Rainbow Quest).

The Select Foal Sale includes a Statue Of Liberty colt (Lot 404) and a Commands filly (Lot 500).

Statue Of Liberty shuttles to Eliza Park and the colt has been catalogued by Kohsho Farm.  His dam Rusunai Christie (Lindo Shaver) was a G3 winner of the Falcon Stakes.  Her only other winner is Japanese 4yo Hope Homan (Agnes Digital).

Commands has been shuttling to Darley Japan for the last two years and his filly from Bridal Song (Selkirk) is being offered by Nakamae Farm.  The dam is an unraced half-sister to Irish G2 winner Sea Dart (Diesis) and French G3 winner Neptune’s Bride (Bering).

A Neo Universe brother to 2009 Japanese Derby winner Logi Universe topped the foal section of the JRHA July Sale last year at Y112 million (AUD 1.45 million).

Neo Universe (Sunday Silence) has 17 foals catalogued this year as does 2010 Champion first-season sire Deep Impact (Sunday Silence).  King Kamehameha (Kingmambo) is the most popular stallion with 21 lots entered for the foal session
