Rich Enuff has transferred to Peter and Paul Snowden and will continue his racing career in Sydney.

“He’s a lovely individual and has settled in okay,” Paul Snowden reported.  “The new environment might switch him on.”

Rich Enuff (Written Tycoon) was one of Melbourne’s star three-year-olds at the 2014 spring carnival winning the G2 Danehill Stakes and G3 Guineas Prelude before running second to the Snowden-trained Shooting To Win in the G1 Caulfield Guineas.

Woodside Park Stud owner Mark Rowsthorn subsequently purchased a share and the breeding rights to the colt from owner-trainer Ken Keys, his wife Louise and stable clients Colin & Grace Johnston.

He returned to action after an injury-enforced spell earlier this season but didn’t fire in a campaign that finished with a disappointing effort in the G1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley.

“He missed the autumn carnival with a leg injury and Damien (Oliver) said he felt too heavy and soft in the spring,” Keys said.  “It was a commercial decision to send him to the Snowdens and everything is negotiable as where and to how long he races.

“We’re realists.  Woodside Park has a vested interest, as we do.  His value will quadruple if he can win a Group 1 in the autumn.”

Keys has a 2yo half-sister by Reward For Effort to Rich Enuff and their dam Hotnuff (Spartacus) foaled a Written Tycoon filly in October.
