Carrington Park foundation sire Roadhog will cover his third book of mares in the NSW Southern Highlands this year.
Roadhog (9h Shovhog – Dame by Salieri) will stand for a $2,200 (inc gst) service fee at the Robertson stud run by Peter Beauman
Roadhog was raced by a syndicate that included Dato Tan Chin Nam and Bart Cummings. He was trained by the master and won 10 races in a 46 start career.
He began racing in Sydney and won at Warwick Farm, Rosehill and Randwick before transferring to Melbourne for victories at Sandown (3) and Caulfield.
Roadhog is a son of Danehill sire Shovhog and has strong all round pedigree. He is a half-brother to Heliograph (11 wins) and their dam is a half-sister to the stakes winners Seto Bridge and Tucker Box.
He is also closely related to the NZ bred G1 winners Sovereign Red, Gurner’s Lane, Trichelle, Xcellent, Foxwood and Purple.
