Blackfriars mare Wynyard Hall topped the Perth Magic Millions Autumn Sale on Sunday at $130,000.
Wynyard Hall is a sister to Saturday’s G2 WATC Derby winner Rohan and she was snapped up by Victorian based Mileshan Nominees after a flurry of bids. She was the star of the unreserved dispersal of Durham Lodge.
Wynyard Hall is the dam of Darlington Abbey (Stratum), a feature winner of this year’s LR Perth Gimcrack Stakes and Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
Next best on the leader-board was Perth stakes winner Morant. A five year-old FuPeg gelding, he has won 6 races from 23 starts for local owner-breeder Bob Peters including the LR Challenge Stakes at Ascot in February 2010.
Morant was purchased by Cranbourne based trainer Damien Williams for $95,000.
Carry A Smile mare Voltage Pak made third top price of $90,000 to the bid of Perth breeder William Robinson. She is carrying a full relation to Rohan and Wynyard Hall.
Sunday’s trade reached $1.11 million for 150 lots at an average of $7,436. The clearance rate was a lofty 96%.
